In 2017, the Hotel Provocateur opened, featuring a stylish hotel bar designed by Amsterdam-based Saar Zafrir. The bar includes a 14-meter-long workspace and three cocktail stations.

The technical equipment and ergonomic arrangement of the individual components were conceived by Working Islands in close collaboration with bar manager Niko Krznar and project manager Steffen Goubeaud.

Key client requirements included optimizing the workflow for a high-volume operation—even for individually shaken cocktails—and integrating a storage and refill system for double-frozen ice directly at the workstation. The gastronomy service provider Berger from Berlin was brought in for implementation. Their technical expertise in supplying and equipping high-quality components ensured the demanding quality standards of the workspace design were met.
